Let me start off by saying I rarely give 5 star reviews, in fact I'm pretty sure I've only ever given 1 restaurant a 5 star review in my yelp career. Harvest has the making of a perfect brunch spot- the decor is beautiful, the food is great, the staff is friendly, and they have a patio!
For brunch we had the shrimp eggs Benedict which is probably the best thing on the menu. I only tried one other item on the menu but its hard to imagine that anything is better then the benedict. It is the best in birmingham hands down. the hollandaise sauce has the perfect amount of citrus & they give you a large amount of shrimp. We also had the french toast which was good. Oddly enough the thing that makes the french toast stand out to me the most is the butter. They give you a citrus butter that is divine, they also have some high quality fruit to go with it.
The service was outstanding, we sat at the bar and I think 5 different people must have stopped to ask us how our food was and if we needed anything. The executive chef also asked which shows me they actually care about quality. A woman I am assuming was the working manager really got my attention, she always had a smile on her face and you can tell she was genuinely enthusiastic about the Hotel and what they had to offer.
I'll make Harvest a regular brunch spot and I recommend you do too.

The Harvest is a new dining treasure for the Birmingham metropolitan area. Located downtown in a safe area with easy access and convenient parking. Perfect for a business meal or intimate dining. The menu options and dish presentations lead to a unique and memorable culinary experience in a comfortable setting where you can have a normal conversation without competing with ambient noises. I've been to the Harvest for dinner and a Sunday brunch. Both occasions were positive and the food delightful. Don't pass this up!

I had brunch there last Sunday and everything was amazing! Everyone should definitely try the homemade pastry basket and French toast. The latte from the cafe was also excellent! Glad to see the amazing renovations done to such a great historic building in downtown Birmingham!

You know when you look forward all day to a meal at some new restaurant everyone is talking about and then you go and . . . it so delivers! Harvest hit it out of the park. This is a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful setting with amazing food. Everything is on point; even the music is well selected and at a level that allows for comfortable conversation. The staff is friendly and attentive. At the suggestion of the chef, we started with the lamb meatballs and the olives stuffed with goat cheese appetizers. They were amazing! I had the baby kale Caesar salad and the seared sea scallops entree - both were incredible. My dinner mates equally enjoyed their perfectly cooked steaks. We couldn't decide among the desserts so ordered several for sharing. All were so delicious, but I must confess the chocolate gateau with cherry cordial drizzle and fresh berries is my new favorite dessert. In summary, we are already making plans to return. Harvest, so glad you belong to Birmingham!
